Small Shops Sverige AB
The company, funded by venture capital co Warburg Pincus Plc, acquired the 7-11 Convenience store brand license for Sweden, Norway and Denmark. First store with new concept was built 1993. As CEO Bjorn M Krasse led the organic growth and acquisitions from 1993 till year 2000. Sales developed to approx 1,8 billion SEK and an EBITDA of 150 MSEK.
ICA MENY/Menigo
A subsidiary of the ICA Group created through acquisitions of several Foodservice companies. Turnover in 2001 apprx 4 billion SEK and an EBITDA of -200 MSEK. A turnaround program was created and implemented under supervision of Bjorn M Krasse as CEO. When leaving the company early 2006 the company had a runrate of 6 billion SEK and an EBITDA of +60 MSEK.
Sambla AB
In 2014 four young talented MBA´s presented a business idéa “consumer loan intermediator” with a long term plan including financial scenario. It was decided to invest and support the team as well as participate as a member of the board. The energy, ambition and talent the young team showed was key in the process. The company now has a turnover of apprx 260 MSEK and an EBITDA of 75 MSEK.
